Couples Counselling
Understandably, the birth of a baby brings about many changes for a couple. Not only have you both become parents, but you're also navigating a new or different dynamic in your relationship. Many couples (over 60%) experience a decline in relationship satisfaction after the birth of their first child due to various reasons such as division of labor, changes in intimacy, and sleep deprivation.
At times, challenges in relationships become too difficult to manage for either one or both parties. You may notice that your attempts, no matter how hard you try to "get it right," end in a fight or the same unhelpful patterns play over and over again.
At Nurture, we offer a safe and relaxed space to explore these challenges, to reconnect with your partner, and to feel secure in your relationship. Couples counselling is a guided process where each individual can share and feel heard. Couples counselling has benefits not only for the couple but also for the individuals and the family unit as a whole.
